In 2025, I created an orthomosaic map of the wetland near Leonard Springs. This area encompasses roughly 25 acres and demonstrates the usefulness of high-resolution, custom-made maps for tracking hydrological changes, tree encroachment, plant population growth or decline, and outreach. This map capture involved three ground-control points (GCPs) and resulted in a ground sample distance (GSD) of 2.9 cm/px.
