In 2026, I was contracted by the Brown County Soil & Water Conservation District to pilot a landowner site visit program to assess invasives species prevalence and forest health on private land in Brown County. I have been convening with landowners, walking their land with them to discuss forest health and dynamics, mapping and inventorying their land for invasive and rare/threatened/endagered species, and writing management plans that connect them with relevant cost-share programs to help address invasive species issues on their properties.Â
