To evaluate the effects of prescribed fire on a Brown County oak-hickory woodland, I worked with Sycamore Land Trust to design and implement fire-effects monitoring. This ongoing project involves quadrat-level sampling, canopy coverage measurement, canopy and sub-canopy descriptions, floristic quality assessment, and reporting with site context, clear figures, and maps.
